candle tip #1
on your first burn always be sure to let the wax melt to the edge of the jar (~2 hours) 🕯 this is creates what is called a full melt pool and helps to avoid any tunnelling or wasted wax!

trim your wick! before each burn be sure to trim your wick (cotton & wooden) to approximately 1/8”-1/4”. a trimmed wick allows the candle to burn the proper amount of fuel aka wax. this will help your candle burn consistently and without any risk of black residue 💛 and don’t worry- if you don’t have a cute wick trimmer, a pair of nail clippers work great
